eBay AR Sneakers Experience
As part of the new "rich shopping experiences" initiative I introduced at eBay, we developed an AR-triggered experience for sneakers on eBay. By pointing the phone's camera at any sneaker the system recognizes the exact model/color way and allows the user to shop for the specific items on eBay's large inventory of sneakers. Rich information about the shoe's design, background about the designer and his/her inspiration and a multitude of other rich content immerse the user in relevant info about their passion and shows the breadth of spectrum of value that powers eBay's inventory.
